A singer and actress originally from Houston, Texas, Margaret has performed in some of New York City's hottest nightclubs such as The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Lincoln Center’s Kaplan Penthouse, Birdland, and in benefits, galas and private parties in NYC and upstate at venues such as The Columbus Club, The Sky Club, The Sheldon House, The Fredonia Historic Opera House, and private residences, art galleries and theatres on and Off-Broadway.In February 2006, Margaret released a four song demo CD, "in the meanwhile...", now available through her website.Most recent theatre projects include playing Professor Rosenstern in The Republic Theatre Company's production ELSINORE COUNTY (THE EC), written by Antony Raymond, a late-night politically-incorrect-squared original comedy is a hilarious take on HAMLET. It played to full houses December 2006 at The Cherry Lane Theatre. Most recent TV work includes playing Mom in "Uncle Louie", a webisode promo for MTV's "Men of Science". She does industrial and voiceover work as well as on-camera and print commercial work. Recent commercial work includes principal roles in Zone Chefs and Spike TV national commercials and a Verizon print campaign.Margaret performs frequently in New York City nightclubs and as a professional entertainer for private parties and benefits in the tri-state area. She is currently at work on a second solo cabaret show, to be musically directed by award-winning accompanist/arranger Rick Jensen and directed by Lina Koutrakos, to be performed in early 2007.
