About Me

After leaving school, in 1995, I spent a year carefully pondering on which turning to take, at the junction of life.
I decided to join the Royal Navy in May 1996, serving 5 years. The first 4 years were served as a Weapons Engineer, before transferring to the Diving branch for my last year. These were 5 very important years for me. Not only did it steer me in the right direction, I met a lot of interesting people, and made a lot of very good friends.
When I left the Navy in Feb 2001, I moved down to Plymouth, where most of my close Navy friends were based.
My love of underwater life, landed me a job offshore as an ROV Pilot (Remote Operated Vehicle), where I still work to this day. Obviously I’ve had some time off…….. If your now wondering what an ROV is? well I’m sure you’ve seen the film Titanic. The little Submarine at the beginning, that’s an ROV, only ours are slightly bigger.
My years in Plymouth, were another very important chapter in my life. It was here in 2002, where I met my gorgeous wife Leah. Leah and I moved back to my home town, South Shields, in 2004, and we tied the knot Valentines Day 2006.
Cyprus is the next big adventure for us, we have just moved there - starting a new life, in a lovely village in Paphos.
Where am I at the moment:
At the moment I'm working in Sunny Africa, just off the coast of Angola.

My Interests

My passion is music!! I love my Dance music. I’m really getting into my Funky House at the moment, but I still have a lot of love for my Trance, Hard House, and Old Skool Rave.
I remember the first mix I did, when I was 14, using two tape decks, and this dodgy homemade mixer.
From that day I was hooked. My cousin used to DJ at the local night club. He would sneak me in passed the bouncers. I was only 15.
When I joined the navy, it all sort of went on hold, certainly for the first 3 years anyway.
I bought my first set of decks in 2000, Numarks, Crackin’ little set of direct drives, got me going anyway. I really started getting into it big time when I moved to Plymouth. One of my best mates Trev, introduced me to his mate Laney, who was already Djing in and around Plymouth. From then it just escalated. Through Laney I met Paul Richards, another well established DJ in Plymouth. Both of them taught me a thing or two.
Sadly playing alongside these guys came to an end when I moved back up North. But I suppose all good things come to an end.
I’m now just in house Djing on my 1210’s for the moment, still buying the Vinyl though, and still lovin‘ it.
I’d like to see myself playing some Funky House, in some Funky beach bar when we move to Funky Cyprus in the summer.
You never know what‘s around the corner.

I'd like to meet:

I would also like to meet:
Anyone who is into there Dance music, especially those who are producing, and mixing. I've been getting into the production side myself, busy learning to use Reason 3.0. Any software recommendations, would greatly be appreciated.

Getting away from the music side, I love to cook up new ideas and new innovations. I'm currently going through the patent process on a hot new gadget. Well I think its hot anyway. Unfortunately cannot disclose to much.
I would love to meet people who share similar interest.I also have a passion for art and graphic design, especially modern art and digital art. Again, would love to meet people in this field
