AmiR aka AmiRacle (a miracle) is exactly what he is. This Mc/Producer is a member of hip-hop collective Matters Of Fact [MOF] and is on a solo mission to help his coalition speak easy like bars during the prohibition , boasts AmiR with confidence.AmiR (AmiRacle, Da Terrorist) found an undeniable love for hip hop in the summer of ‘92 when he met MOF member Rynn D at a community basketball camp where they quickly became steadfast friends when they recognized a real talent for music in each other.After countless freestyle sessions, battles, and late nights of writing rhymes back and forth, the two friends bounced onto the stage of Epiphany Night Club in the deep winter of ‘95 to shock a packed house for their first live performance. The previously unknown duo of AmiR & Rynn D left skeptics baffled and the microphone smoking. Still flush from their first on-stage success, Matters Of Fact was born and is still growing.With a third MC by the name of G-Rat added to the mix MOF was indeed ready to show the world what they were capable of. After their brief absence in ‘97 the group returned from hiatus adding Knowname to the roster, a talented emcee from the west-end of Toronto.After gaining much experience in the art of rhyming, AmiR discovered a real passion for the art of production in the year of 95'. Spending the majority of his time watching Rynn D create beat after beat on his drum machine, AmiR soon found himself yearning to lay his ideas down in the form of snares and kicks.Now, trying to make a name for himself AmiR is quietly stirring up a storm and keeping true to his music with every step. Having released a mixtape (AmiR Da Terrorist presents: The High-Jacking) and producing for some of Toronto’s up and coming and established artists such as (Jelleestone, Promise, Drake, Prestege, Ayah, D.O, TRA etc....). AmiR is adding to this list to help the masses recognize the authenticity of Toronto’s hip-hop.All set to release a Matters Of Fact Lp entitled Mind Over Matter and currently working on his own untitled solo project AmiR’s future is looking bright. Undeniable charisma, coupled with witty punch-lines and earthy bounce beats, give AmiR the edge in today's mainstream revival of true school hip-hop.
