About Me

Mats Huss is living and working i Stockholm. He runs his own business Huss Event within the field of event management, since 2006. His main instrument is the piano. Mats is also band leader for the soul- and funk band "the Soulhealers" - dr:Patrik Blomqvist, bs: Björn EnegÃ¥rd, Pi: Mats Huss, Git: Henrik Falsin, L. Voc:Angelica Rylin, Trp:Elias Dahl, t.sx: Gabriel Tigerschiöld, Tbn: Marco Regazzoni. B. voc: Helena Olsson.Mats also played piano in the new band the Moleskins - a collaboration with singer Caroline Ekström, manager Patrik Larsson, drummer Patrik Blomqvist and bass player Björn EnegÃ¥rd. The Moleskins plays pophits in a jazzy fashion. Moreover Mats also works occasionally with dj Freddie Cruger (a.k.a. Red Astaire) and singer/songwriter Andreas Möller.Prior to working with music Mats was project manager within the field of industrial design in Stockholm, working with Ericsson Mobile, V&S Vin & Sprit, Fjällräven among others. Mats ran his own company "Design Connection" in the 90s.I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4

Influences: This is a long list.... Starting with KISS in 1974.... ranging to trumpet player Maurice Brown (New Orleans) and passing through almost every genre... There you go. Why limiting yourself?
Sounds Like: Anders, a trumpet player at HiQ once told me my tune "Entropi Opus 1" sounded like Arvo Pärt. Since I hadn't heard Pärt to that point I started listening to his music and, yes I liked it alot:-)
