About Me

I'm Elin Larsson, saxophone player and composer from Sweden. I was born in 1984 and grew up in the southern part of the country. By the age of 14 I picked up the saxophone and found my own musical voice. Today I study jazz/improvisation and saxophone playing at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. I play mostly jazz, but I'm inspired by all kinds of music. I've never seen genres as an issue. I prefer to just keep my heart and ears open for everything; If the music makes me feel something there's no need to put a lable on it. Apart from my own quintet, Elin Larsson Group, I'm involved with a couple of different bands and projects. I will post our gigs on this site.
