Miranda

Hello, my name is Miranda. I grew up in Australia as the daughter of Barry Otto. I remeber that when I was young I used to take ballet lessons, but now I'm skilled in things such as horseback riding and sword fighting. I was studying in the medical field, but soon I decided to take up the role of an actor like my father. Thats when I decided to go to NIDA a very prestigious acting school in Australia. Over time I landed small roles in films such as, What Lies Beneath, The Thin Red Line, but mostly a lot of the ones I have done are better known in Australia, like Danny Deckchair. My first big hit was my role as Eowyn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Later I did a film called In My Father's Den. Then I also did a TV miniseries, Through My Eyes. And recently did Flight of the Phoenix with Dennis Quaid, and soon to come out War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. Right now I'm married to my wonderful husband, Peter O'Brien, and we have a lovely new baby girl who came into our lives April 1st of this year. Well I guess thats all for now.
