About Me

im a big dork when all is said and done-thats a good thing in my opinion i love meeting new people who are fun and have cool interests. im an outdoorsey type...who cleans up well..i love going to the cabin and spending quality time with quality people. i am currently living in cross lake at the cabin for the summer...the new cabin is just about ready to move into....yippee!!!i have a closet full of long black formal dresses due to the 30 weddings i attended in 3 years..im not joking..so i do get out of the woods now and again...and i can dance the cha cha and the chicken dance...heeeeeeeeeeee. im now at the cabin for the summer, so i wont really be in st paul until fall...unless i decide to get my own place and stay here...who knows... humor is a must as well as the ability to not take life too seriously. i have a big family...mom, recently lost my dad who was my world... 4 older brothers all married happily and 10 nieces and nephews who i love spending time with. weve always gone on family trips...love that...im not interested in creepy guys saying creepy things, ya -you know who you are... soooooooooo...hard to really put myself into words. im just fun gal who loves life...usually-

you name it- outside- inside- rain-thunder- my dog honey art - pottery- jewelry making- going north- fishing............ pretending i live on a ranch........lots of stuff...cooking...my birthday...another milestone to look forward to the next...new interesting people...the construction of the new cabin...staying in touch with old friends, people watching, skiing, water and snow,photography, music...learning about things i never knew existed...traveling

I'd like to meet:

fellow fun dorks who are spontanious, who like the outdoors - so im doing this to correspond with fun people- the world is too big to be closed minded to not meeting new people...bla bla bla- oh and id like to meet my maker i guess- just not on the other side, maybe have him over for a glass of wine...

Music:

tom jones rules...but i wouldnt sacrafice my panties for him. i have to admit i like old country, dylan, and willie, kidd rock, certain sound tracks, pretty much everything but techno.... love the samples, dixies, johnny cash, indigo girls, neil diamond, the blues, funk- geeze- old van halen...throw you off there????????

Movies:

the shining- harold and maude- uhf- office space-best in show-american movie- sixteen candles-royal tannenbaums,oh brother where art thou, arg too many...

Television:

crime shows- funniest home videos-will and grace- nature shows- minnesota bound on sunday nights-desperate housewives-first auditions of american idol-( who told most of those people they could sing????????)

Heroes:

my mom ( still here) and dad-he was the best- recently passed in november 2005...and my angel for a grandmother-they are always looking down on me from wherever- up im sure-hands down...best people i ever knew...

well..its amazing how different life is when you go from a big city to a small town in the north woods...both have pros and cons to be sure..but i must say, i couldnt come up with a favorite location,...
