I have my phases. Right now, I am heavily into ambient/ experimental sounds: play Arovane, Monolake, Julien Neto often in my studio. But love a lot of other things too, and have my Ipod filled with anything from The Brooklyn Funk essentials to Janacek, from Pergolesi to Philip Glass, from Garbage to Pink Floyd. I guess the only thing I do not like is hardcore, be it hardcore techno or hardcore metal. I guess I aint hardcore enough for it.
Magnolia, I am not afraid, Arizona Dream, Exotica, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, In the mood for love, 2046, strictly ballroom... in short: arthouse
Rarely, if ever. Unless Voyager is on, or CSI (the original) or house, or an interesting documentary I'd like to watch, or if (Dutch) politics have been so infismally stupid again I feel obliged to watch the news
Keri Hulme: Kerewin Meir Shalev: anything by him, but particularely The loves of Judith TH White: The once and future king Susan Sontag: Against interpretation and lots of other books that look pretty snobbish on the couch in the living room but I haven't read yet.
