Figurative art is seen at times as an amaturistic and none imaginative form of art. As a collective we try to explore all kinds and means of expression using the figure as a central element. In our work we would like to bring back more figurative art and proove it can be as imaginative and rich in meaning, both spiritually and conceptually as conceptual art is experienced these days. Our project is used not as a protest against conceptual art, but our goal is to bring forward what we feel has been pushed aside by modern conceptual art. Some of us have high regards for classical art and some have been concentrating on this way of expression as they feel that this is the image that best suits their ideas and feeling. We aim to reach out and find more artists who are interested in working together with us as well as ways to bridge between our art and other forms or art and expression. Our space is merely the beginning, as we learn from each other and inspire each other we hope to create a bigger circle and opportunities. New work and information will be added regularly.
