Another Punk For Peace

As many as 400,000 people have died in the genocide. Recently, U.N. officials estimated that the death toll in Darfur could rise catastrophically if the perilous humanitarian situation falters. Up to 100,000 people could die each month.
In Darfur, Sudan, located in Africa, there has been genocide happening for the past 4 years. The Sudanese government, headed by Omar Al Bashir, has been killing their civilians in Darfur. Bashir wants to get rid of all of the full blooded African tribes so that Darfur will have all Arab tribes. He is "ethnically cleansing" the area. 400,000+ people have been killed, and 2.5 million people have been displaced from their homes due to the Janjaweed and Antonov militias. The Sudanese government is paying the Janjaweed and Antonovs to burn down villages and kill civilians. Civilians are starving and have nothing to drink, eat, wear, and use. The Darfuris escape to their neighboring country, Chad, where they set up their refugee camps. But now, the Janjaweed and Antonovs have found out about the refugee camps and are now going into Chad to kill the rest of the people. It is a total humanitarian crisis.
