IT AIN'T ALL ABOUT YOU

About Me

It all started when I heard Grandmaster Flash On The Wheels of Steel in 1981 "Apache" came on and that was all I needed to hear. Having deejayed for every artist in Chicago,X-Ray has seen the best of the best at their best. Starting with my own group Sinnister(Sosa Quran) and D.O.D.(Do or Die),gained recognition as one of the best up and coming djs. Having done every house party and park jam imaginable with (Ice Cold Prod.),it was time to break out Downtown. Sinnister group member 88 Metaphors(creator of Speedknots nka Speedknot Mobstaz) put me on with a growing movement in Chi-town Hip-Hop called DEM DARE,they were a big influence in Chicago Hip-Hop. Now having a scene in Chicago, X-Ray was deejaying amongst some future legends(Twilite Tone,331/3,Tone B.Nimble,PNS,Duro,Taco-Bopski,Masta,)and so many more, but when the scene slowed down it was time to try something new,Ghetto House.Growing up on the West-side had an advantage, taking that old house party experience and moving around from place I found a way in but couldn't leave the Hip-Hop alone. Now spinning for more tougher crowds that tell you if they like you or not no in-between, I hooked up with a crew that formed a family(Geto Djs)and the likes of (D-Man,Dj Rock,Dj.Pat,Jammin Gerald,Traxman,Slick Rick tha Master,Dj Ty,DJ Amar,Terrible "Mixin" Ted,Mixin' Manky,DJ Work It,Deelite,Reggie Acid,Dj Flex,Icy Ike,Freck,Vicious Vaughn,3-T Curt,Ernest(Rip)White Boy,Starvin Marvin(rip),Shakey Shaun Robinson,Waxmaster,Dj.Funk,Slugo,Rockin' Renzo,Eric Martin,Gant-Man,Dj Clint,Dante tha Innovator,DJ.Jermaine,) he learned the art of balance in music. Swinging balance is the best way to describe his style and what I tell up and coming dj's,you gotta know how to swing that music. Retail brought him closer to the rappers and celebrities over at Georges Music Room and currently at Dr.Wax,by simply knowing good music. Meeting such people as(Jean Carne,Jay-Z(1st gold single)Snoop Dogg,Goodie MOB,Gangstarr,Fat Joe,Frddie Foxxx,DRU HILL,Aalyiah(rip)Slum Village(no JAYDEE damn!)deejaying with Nicolay thru C-Mass(Sonotheque),and countless others,I have a ton of stories to tell with those experiences. Being now what they call an elder statesman in Chicago I've been blessed to have around a bunch of great mc;s(Insight,Tumchee,Snake,TWISTA,Crucial Conflict,Drama Ward,M.A.T.S Crew,DOD,Common Sense,No I.D,ANG13,GQ tha Teacha,Thaione,Pugslee Atoms,PSALM One,)and so many I cant count.found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments .. .. .. data="http://www.youtube.com/v/8kEryR5wj9o&hl=en"
