Sounds Like: SOMEBODY ALWAYS SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY ELSE DON’T THEY? Hi...I’m a true school Hip Hop mc/dj. I’m one fourth of the Hip Hop quartet Endangered Species. I’m strongly into the culture of Hip Hop as well as promoting thought through my music. You won’t hear a lot of "look at what I got", "Do this dance" in my rhymes schemes. I’m a adult with adult subjects. I will never hate on artist for doing his thing as I would want the same respect. I have been told I sound like many people from Krs-1 to Black Thought from the Roots. I guess that is where a lot of my influence is coming from. I’m certainly not looking for my music to be in one place. I want to reach a broad audience and progress as artist. I think music should be timeless and not just for the moment. It should always evoke feelings and touch you in some way. While in my group I had the opportunity to grow as artist. We had the chance to open for legends such as Common, Dj Kool Herc, Too Short, Slum Village, Digable Planets and others. This invaluable experience made me want to embark upon my solo venture. I’m not leaving my group but I am expanding my soul. This summer will be the release of my first solo album entitled "Cultural Awareness."In my opinion Hip Hop music has always been a social tool for people all over the world. I hope with my music I can touch someone and bring part of my culture to them.
