"Hello" all DJ.s & Fans my name is Richard E. Hogan born in the state of Illinois,
city of Westside Chicago Henry Hornets Projects.
When I was about five years old, that is when I started to loved all types and kind of music.
Listen to albums that my mother played them when her brothers and sisters
come over to the house and played cards.
As the years go by, I started to get a job at 10, and save money and buy me some 12inch.records,
Albums and DJ Equipment.
At the age of 11 I started blending albums that’s sounds so good to me
And mixed at block club parties, house parties in the hallways, porch and in the house till I was 17yrs.old and moved
From the projects to K-Town in 1987, that’s when I started to go to the "FACTORY†and
meeting other DJ's like "JAMMIN THE HOUSE GERALD",
"SLICK MASTER RICK a.k.a. HOUZ' MON", "QUICK MIX CLAUDE", "GREG THE MASTER".
I love the music that was playing at the Factory, and that is when I started to make
Underground traxs.
When I got into making traxs, I played them to my friends and at the parties plus on mix tapes!
My name back then was DJ.HARDROCK, and I was a dancer too. When I was mixing at the Factory before it got
burned down. But I had finally got up with "HOUZ' MON" when I was living in K-Town
In addition, we were making Factory Traxs at my house listening to sounds creating beats to make a tight trax.About 1990 I meeted more DJ.s "DJ. FUNK", "KEVIN McSWAIN", "BLAST MASTER a.k.a. TRAXMAN",
"DJ.D-MAN", "DJ.CLINT X", "DJ. AMAR", "WAXMASTER", "DJ.T-Y", "BIG PAUL", "DJ.X-RAY", "DJ.TY".
In 1992 my fans started to call me "SLICK RICK" and I was thinking why they called me that, and
I said to myself I'm slick of what I do, and plus I master everything I touch,
So I came up with and idea.
I came up with a name that I will cherish and lived for the rest of my life an that name is:
"SLICK RICK DA' MASTER a.k.a. GETO MASTA-1"
I am sticking to it and I am running with it to THE WORLD BLOW UP!
I was in a group call "ICEBOX STUDIOS" in 1994-1996 with the crewmembers:
"DJ.AMAR c.e.o.", "DJ.Q", "DJ.JOE", in 95'DJ.Amar & Me started our 1st. album
Called WESTSIDE WORKSTATION ..5 with few of my hit traxs
"NUMERIC BATTLE-95",
"GET DA' HO!", "HAVE MYSELF A BALL", "HO IN DIS HOUZ!"
Then I came with another album called ICEBOX-4-LIFE! With hits like:

"GETO DJ'Z INC."
(and still down as today!)
