Some Kind Of Rubus

Ex-Nerved vocalist Emil Gammeltoft felt a need to explore new territories after singing hard rock and metal for 18 years. Lots of folky melodies in his head united him with fiddle player de-luxe Petter Axelsson and started a collaboration in the end of 2005. Guitar wizzard Örjan Johansson (a former GIT-student) helped out with the guitars and Some Kind Of Rubus was born. The focus is to record a full album and play live throughout the world from 2007. The mix is rock music meeting folk music, in some cases a little bit celtic in style, in some cases more "nordic" sounding folky style (added with rock).Some Kind Of Rubus base is Stockholm, Sweden. We are here to entertain you and hopefully you will like our ideas.
