Yn nechra 2006 mi oeddwn yn trio ngora i wneud cwrs Ph.D ym mhrifysgol Bangor ond yn ei ffeindio hi'n anodd iawn. Fel pob stiwdant mi oeddwn yn trio osgoi gneud gwaith bob cyfla y cefais. Felly pan glywis i fod gan y brifysgol orsaf radio(StormFm) efo un sioe a oedd yn cael ei darlledu drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg mi sgwennis i lythyr blin atynt. Nath eu hymateb fod 'chydig yn wahanol i beth oeddwn yn ei ddisgwyl, mi ges i sioe! Rhai misoedd yn ddiweddarach mi oedd y Student Radio Awards yn agosau a mi oedd y parti enwebu yn cael ei gynnal ym Mangor. Fel rhan o'r diwrnod mi gawson siaradwyr gwadd, a daeth cynrychiolydd o Champion103 atom. Gofynnais os oedd posibiliad o gael unrhywfath o waith ac y canlyniad oedd cael gwneud fy sioe ar Champion103, coast 96.3 a classic gold(pob nos Sadwrn 10yh-1yb) Yn wahanol i fy sioe (sy'n chwarae cerddoriaeth o Gymru, boed yn Saesneg neu Gymraeg + cyfweliadau + gigs) ar StormFm mae'r rhaglen hon yn parau am 3 awr, felly mae gen i amser i wneud cyfweliad a sesiwn gyda band, yn ogystal a chwarae cerddoriaeth. Felly, rwan dwi'n cael fy ngorfodi i ymuno yn y byd technoleg, er dwi'm yn dallt o riw lawar!Tra dwi'n mwydro, os yda chi mewn band neu yn gneud cerddoriaeth o unrhywfath ag isio mwy o bobl i'w glywed, pam na wnewch chi gysylltu efo fi i yrru cd a mynd a fo i tonnau'r awyr? At the beginning of 2006 I was trying my very best to do a Ph.D course in Bangor University, but failing miserably. As anyone who's been in uni knows, when work needs to be done you'll do anything but work. A friend told me that the uni had a radio station, and that they only had one programme that was being broadcasted in Welsh. I saw this as a window to do something about it and to my surprise, a simple complaint to the station got me my own show! A few months later the Student Radio Awards were looming and the nominations party was being held in Bangor. As a part of the day-long event we had guest speakers, including a representative from a local radio station, Champion103. Later on in the evening I plucked up the courage to ask if there was any chance of voice-over work etc and so this was to be. He seemed to like the idea of my show (playing music by artists from Wales, English and Welsh lyrics + going to gigs etc) and asked me if I would bring it to Champion103,coast96.3 and classic gold, where in the first hour I have a guest band/musician, and the second is dedicated to playing a varitety of music.(every Saturday night 10pm-1am) So, my hate for technology has now been pushed to one side as he insisted I got a myspace. There, told you it'd be a lot more confusing than I intended!
