Welcome friend. I very much appreciate you taking the time to view my space, as you may have already gathered I am a artist who creates works that tackle subjects of a spiritual nature. I find it easiest in a world that loves to pigeonhole to describe myself as a visionary artist. My arts messages are of a non aligned nature, born from the core elements found in great texts the world over. I personally believe that we are all part of a ‘divine matrix,’ meaning that we are all linked within the body of the source (The Tao, God label it what you will) that drives all things. As hard as it is for my ego and mind (at times) to swallow, I truly feel that we are all joined in oneness via a silent yet powerful force .
I fully appreciate that for many the above paragraph may seem like crazy talk or go against your own personal belief system and I respect that. My purpose in life is not to convert you or anyone to some alien way of thinking. Every life has its own personal journey of self discovery and this is mine, via this inspired art (I use this not in a bragging way) I have awakened to see the world through a shifted perception. Perception in life is everything and nothing, we all see the same life through different filters. The core life force is always unchanged despite what worldly drama we choose to indulge. So for me life is truly what ‘we’ make it.
I myself less than 3 years ago would not have even had a clue what all the above meant and that is as it should be, every thing comes to us when we are ready. I believe that we all have the truth within and that also within is the key to happiness, contentment and peace. Nothing in the external world that is to say ‘no thing’ can bring us the comfort and wholeness we are all ultimately searching for. That is not to say that the world is not a wonderful place, it is, but like a moth drawn to a light we can become preoccupied with ‘stuff’ and spend whole lifetimes transfixed by the dance (drama, suffering). Sadly in this state we will discover very little about true peace or indeed anything of true worth.
I must point out you have not to believe anything I say to enjoy my work on a visual level. The work for me has brought with it a much needed wake up call, to start seeing my life in a new way, but I can not make any claims for what it may or may not do for you. Like the old time silent movies you can choose to read the narrative underneath the pictures or make up your own, or simply detach from the need to know what it is about and simply enjoy the imagery.
