Legalize Brains For Dinner

About Me

Brains For Dinner-- is a unique roots-rock reggae band that has been playing in Houston Texas since 2004. It wasnt until they caught the attention of local Houston artist King Shanty I, who added Rastafarian influenced lyrics, dance hall style, and hip hop flavor to the music that thier band began to roots up. Their live act is known to be energetic and full of improvisation. After seeing this band you will feel the need to legalize Brains For Dinner. They have performed with International Reggae artist Sizzla, reggae artist I Wayne, Big Youth, Bushman, Dr. King Cobra, KEn Boothe, The Mighty Sparrow, Skilly Bongo and many other local artists. Brains For Dinner has played at many venues around Houston such as Fitzgeraldald's, Walters on Washington, Engine Room, Shannons--s, Hellio's, Southmore House, Club Riddems, Super Happy Fun Land, Last Concert Cafe, The Red Cat Jazz Cafe, and many more. They have released one full length album with singer King Shany I. Currently Brains For Dinner-- is working on a Dub album to be released in 2008.
