Kent Chater

Author, novelist, poet, "AmEuropean" (a term from my book), polyglot (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, some Portuguese and Swedish), traveler, 2007 neo-classic, 80's new romantic, and former songwriter/keyboardist.About the author: Kent Chater holds degrees in literature, linguistics, and foreign languages and cultures from both American and Swiss universities.The purpose of my “neo-classic” fashion movement is first and foremost “joie de vivre” (keen enjoyment of life); it is simply fun to express oneself in a creative fashion. Secondly, it is to help elevate the standards of writing in the next generation. The standards of writing along with the standards of dress have been in steady decline for 200 years. Hence, if we creatively perk up the standards of dress in the media for the next generation today, perhaps the reading and writing skills of the next generation will improve as well, thus ending the dumbing down of society.
