Good... Bad.... I'm the guy with the synth.

About Me

If you're some ran-dumb person adding me please have the common courtesy to write me first.

I often wonder if I take myself too seriously or if I don't take myself seriously enough...

my days are based more on a 36 hour turn-around...

I work on music as many hours a day as possible in one form , another or another . Sometimes I don't leave my house, let alone my room, for days on end in the process.

I smoke too many cigarettes, have a love/hate relationship with art, enjoy traveling, repeat myself when rambling, been reading a lot more often, enjoy arabica bean coffee, don't eat enough and I'm also a professional level idiot/jackass.. but that's how it goes, right?

If you really wanna know anything IMPORTANT just ask.

My Interests

Life (from be-ing to do-ing), Music (see below), Film, (see below), Art (McKean, Bacon, Dali and so many others), Travel (without it I'd go insane), Science (String Theory, the Golden Ratio), Nature (need I say more?), Coffee (get some Arabica in your system :D), the idea of Infinity (in ALL senses).

I'd like to meet:

Aliens and Demi-Gods.

Music:

Mostly electronic, dark and/or rock in roots... i enjoy a little bit of everything (in no particular order):

Skinny Puppy
Massive Attack
Thom Yorke
Aphex Twin
The Afghan Whigs
16volt
Baxter
Gorillaz
Mazzy Star
Peter Murphy
Deltron 3030
Riow Arai
Johnny Cash
Nirvana
Puscifer
Eyedea & Abilities
Babes in Toyland
Mos Def
Tool
Chemlab
Nine Inch Nails
Dead Kennedys
Interpol
Plaid
Radiohead
Autechre
Seabound
Curve
Mr. Oizo
Claus Larsen

..seriously... the list goes on and on.

Movies:

i really dig anything with depth and charm (especially the retarded "more-gore-than-glory" type.. Make sure and see Feast).
It ranges anything that Bruce Campbell is in to Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Roman Polanski and i'm a huge sucker for old Steve Martin.

Television:

i pretend to watch it sometimes.. i get closer and closer to selling the damned thing everyday...

Other than that i use it to watch dvds and to play video games.

Books:

Some earlier works of William Gibson, SnowCrash by Neal Stevenson (s/p?), Otherland by Tad Williams (which is a bit slow moving but hopefully I'll get thru it...), then Abarat - Days of Magic, Nights of War by Clive Barker, Bruce Campbell - Make Love: The Bruce Campbell Way kicked some serious ass. Re-tackling Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.. all still interspersed with Joseph Campbell and Nietzsche.. any other recommendations?
I enjoy a little of everything. Thrillers, Philosophy, Beat, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comic Books...
not to mention plenty of webcomics... like (but not limited to):
Something Positive
Overcompensating
Comet 7
Kristy vs. The Zombie Army
