MECHATOHM WEBSITE
It's pronounced: Mek-Ah-Tome
Bio/Info
MechatohM is the solo musical project of me, Zyclobonzaron. I do all the writing and recording. Everything you hear is me. Tarin Kim is the artistic consultant, and did the cover art for the album Volume Zero. Everything else, all the guitars, bass and vocals were done by me. If you must know, the drums are programmed, but I still did the programming, and many of the cymbal sounds are my very own cymbals. Live drums are not a feasible option at this time, otherwise I would have done that too. I do play some mean drums...
The music is basically Rock Metal, with a hint of industrial flavor. Currently, there are 2 recorded works, skykillmotherdust & Volume Zero, with Volume Zero being currently available for sale on Amazon.com through CreateSpace. CreateSpace allows MechatohM (or any other artist) to sell their CDs without any contracts or record company involvement. When you buy a MechatohM CD, you are not just supporting MechatohM, but artistic freedom in general. Go ahead and laugh, but its true. Help support the artists, not the record companies.
The MechatohM website has FREE high fidelity MP3s that are free to download. They are full length, no strings attached. Slap them onto you and your buddies MP3 players or whatever and give them a trial ride. If you like what you hear, maybe you'll buy the CD. Thats how I look at it. So feel free to downlaod and share the MP3s with your friends etc.
Stay tuned for upcoming MechatohM stuff.
Whats with the Pinwheel Logo?
The pinwheel used for the MechatohM logo and the cover art for Volume Zero is part of the mysterious 15th century Voynich Manuscript. It is written in a mysterious cipher and has never been translated. The volume is filled with equally mysterious illustrations that only hint at what the book might be about.
