Optimism is for Pussies

About Me

I am a philosophical, spiritual, introverted, mechanically inclined, musician type dude. I like stuff. I blog at random. I build computers sometimes. Mostly, I write and record music. That is my real deal. You can check out my stuff on my MechatohM myspace profile. That is my solo music project. It's uber-wicked (ok maybe I'm biased). I like gothic type visuals, especially anything that appears esoteric. I also like reading a lot of non-fiction about humans and their various insane aspirations. I am a big fan of movies that are deep and have some sort of meaning and substance to them. I am a big fan of hard rock and heavy metal music, but I can appreciate many different styles. I like to have conversations... from the deep philosophical type, to the stupid superficial type. Talk is good.
I have a small home studio where I write and record all my own music for my music project, MECHATOHM, to which there are several links to from this page.

A Gift of Thunder & Lightning...

I sat outside and watched the lightning show the other night. It was one of the coolest I've seen yet while living here. It was the slow, laborious kind, the kind that slowly crawls across the sky......
