The inner space. If i would have to choose one, that would be the name i would give to the main theme in my creations. This ‘inner space’ would simbolize an abstract concept quite familiar to us all. Some would recognize it as ‘soul’ or ‘spirit’, but that wont be exactly what i mean, you would have to take that idea and get ride of the transcendental and mystic connotations to keep the day to day aspect. To me it means that space inside the body and the head in which we are ourselves and which remains as the one and only real ‘I’, where we feel things wich can’t be put on words and where we talk to ourselves. One, personal and not to be transfered. Our essence. Why this theme? Well, i could give you several reasons, but for example it is a good excuse to get to try to understand ‘us’ better, because of it’s intimate caracteristics, because you can not touch it, because it is inherent to every singel one of us and what we have in common... but mostly because it is the origin of my creativity, there from come all my ideas, my eagerness and my will. It is the beginning. In order to create something, in every discipline and for every artist, first it has to exist there, in our ‘inner space’.*************************************************** ************************************************************ ******************El espacio interior. Si tuviera que elegir uno, este sería el nombre que le daría al tema que ha predominado en el conjunto de mis creaciones. Este espacio interior simbolizaría una idea abstracta a la que durante la historia se le ha dado diferentes nombres. Algunos la reconocerían como alma( dimensión moral y de los sentimientos del hombre, por oposición a la intelictiva), espíritu ( parte inmaterial del hombre gracias a la cual piensa, siente, quiere, etc), pero estas definiciones tampoco se adecuarían completamente a la idea a la que me refiero, habría que derprenderla de ese aspecto trascendental que la carga de misticismo para quedarnos con el aspecto mas cotidiano, mas de andar por casa. Para mí es ese espacio que existe dentro de nuestro cuerpo y nuestra cabeza en el que somos nosotros mismos y que se mantiene como único referente a nuestra persona, ese en el que sentimos las cosas que no podemos expresar con palabras y en el que conversamos con nosotros mismos. Personal, único e intransferible. Nuestra esencia. Porqué he elegido este tema? Pues por varias razones. Por ejemplo porque supone un viaje interior que me ayuda también a conocerme mejor a mí misma y a la naturaleza humana en general, porque no es algo palpable, prque es inherente a todos y cada uno de nosotros, lo que tenemos en común... Pero sobre todo porque es el origen de mi capacidad creadora, porque de él emergen todas mis ideas e inquietudes, es el principio. Para crear algo, en cualquier disciplina y para cualquier artista, primero tiene que existir ahí, en nuestro espacio interior.
