My wonderful little boy who is my inspiration and my teacher in life, Vegan/Vegetarian cooking, raw "uncooking", animal rights, natural health, astrology, Law of Attraction, Metaphysical studies, creative people, music (just don't ask me to sing or play an instrument because you WILL be sorry), doodling, classic/vintage/retro clothes and style and the whole pin-up girl look, my dogs, making a difference no matter how small, organizations I feel are worthy and supporting the underdogs who are trying to make the world a better place. Lately as I learn more about who I am, I find more things of interest to me.
Hmmm...lots of people. For starters, and in no particular order, probably Maynard James Keenan, David Wolfe, Criss Angel, Jackie Chan, Brandon Lee (if he were still alive), Lewis Black (cuz he's funny), Harland Williams (he's funny too), Dr. Michael Beckwith, Mike Dooley, Bettie Page, Will Smith, Drew Barrymore, and I'm sure this list will grow eventually! Not meet, but I would love to reconnect with people from my past. So far I've found a few!
ROCK!!!! None of that whiny country crap! Actually I listen to a little of everything. If it's on the VH1 Top 20 I probably like it...with a few exceptions! Among the faves would be Tool, A Perfect Circle, Evanescence, Goo Goo Dolls, Staind, Pink, Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, NIN, Fallout Boy, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Janes Addiction, Beastie Boys, Ramones, George Clinton, Sex Pistols, Seether, 7 Mary 3, Cypress Hill, Jimi Hendrix, Infectious Grooves, Duran Duran, Rev. Horton Heat, RICHARD CHEESE (if you haven't heard of him, check him out!), Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone, Fiona Apple, STP, Prodigy, 311, some old school 80's (gotta love the 80's come on!), classic rock, some techno. I think this organization below is awesome for doing what they do. Music needs to be kept in schools as a creative outlet for kids and of course as a jumping off point to begin a career if they choose. Visit the link below and ADD 'EM!
Trading Places, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Vacation, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Rocketman, The Breaks, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Happy Gilmore, Cars, Finding Nemo, Liar Liar, Dumb & Dumber, The Crow, Office Space, How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Rush Hour 1 & 2, The Goonies (yeah, that's right), The Wedding Singer, Kiss of the Dragon, The One, Shanghai Noon/Knights, The Naked Gun (all 3), What About Bob?, Cheech & Chong movies, Tommy Boy, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Contact, Independence Day, City of Angels (girly, I know, but good), Mission Impossible (just the 1st one, not much of a Tom Cruise fan), Bad Boys, classic Vincent Price movies, Rosemary's Baby & The Secret. Recommendations gladly accepted! (PS, my list keeps growing)
Seinfeld, Mindfreak, Family Guy, VH1, The Soup, LA Ink. I love the classics like Fawlty Towers, Three's Company, The Jeffersons, I Love Lucy, Mr. Ed, Get Smart, *cough* Wonder Woman *cough* (hey, anyone that can change clothes by spinning around, can stop a bullet with wrist bands and carries a golden lasso deserves recognition). CARTOONS! Can't forget Ren & Stimpy and the infamous Beavis & Butthead!!! Tom & Jerry, The Looney Tunes...good stuff!
The Master Key System by Charles Haanel, Practical Spirituality by James Arthur Ray, The Sunfood Diet Success System by David Wolfe, Eating For Beauty by David Wolfe, Raw Transformation by Wendy Rudell, Green For Life by Victoria Boutenko. Lots on natural health, but these are my favorites. Also books by Ann Rice, Clive Barker & Dean Koontz. I know there's more to add, but again...I can't remember. Gladly send me any recommendations on these too, especially anything to do with Metaphysics, LoA or spirituality.
My son for always being by my side no matter what.
