Real metal for real men

About Me

Formed way back in 2001, Acrimonious Anguish began life as as melodic death band heavily influenced by In Flames, Soilwork, Children Of Bodom etc. Gradually the band's sounds mutated into a fusion of power metal and melodic death, utilizing the melodic sensibilites of Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, Manowar et al and the driving harmonic riffage developed from the Gothenburg/Scandinavian influence. We began to make a name for ourselves locally (one reviewer labelled us "the bad boys of the Kendal scene") but unfortunately after many succesful gigs and numerous line-up changes we had to call it a day due to other commitments.
Now after almost 3 years we are back with a new line up - tighter, heavier and meatier than ever before. Be prepared to bow to the might and splendour of ACRIMONIOUS ANGUISH you dirty, dirty fuckers.
Give us gigs!!!!! You won't regret it.
