The story of TGM starts back in early 2003, rising from the ashes of several failed sports websites - building itself on bringing together local music in Cumbria and SW Scotland to the attention of everyone within the area, as well as those outside. TGM has grown over the last five years, reviewing local gigs and local band's EP's, as well as producing a fully comprehensive gig listing page for the area and even nearby cities Lancaster and Newcastle.
And every autumn, TGM hosts its own end of year awards called the TGM Awards, celebrating the best in local music in Cumbria and SW Scotland, giving out sixteen awards from Gigs and EP's to Genre and Area, as well as the big gong in Best Overall Act.
TGM is here to help bands in Cumbria and SW Scotland to get their name and music across both within the area and further!
