About Me

The Afterlife is a project consisting of two long-time best friends that were finally able to write together after many projects. Heather Baker (formerly Nightfall, As Night Falls, currently The Iron Maidens) and Rachel Sinfield (Bronco Tatonka) met in their freshmen year of high school, automatically having guitar playing and writing abilities in common. After seven years of friendship and support of each others own projects they are finally collaborating on something together, something unique and different from today’s music. Early in the year of 2006 they put their heads together creating sounds ranging from influences of modern rock, to the classics. Rachel and Heather have different styles of writing but similar characteristics that compliment one another. Together these two create an unmistakable signature sound.MESSAGE: We are currently in the studio with Producer/Engineer Sergio Chavez(P.O.D., The Action Design, Silverstein) at Maple and NRG Recording Studios featuring Jarrod Alexander on drums(Death By Stereo, Adamantium, A Static Lullaby). So far there is no set release date but the plan is to have them finished on the cusp of the new year. We very much look forward to sharing our music with you.
