Myra & Russ both hail from Ballina in County Mayo and are now based in Thomastown in Kilkenny, ...They have known each other for years growing up in the same town in the west of Ireland. Having similar tastes in music and being prone to writing songs they decided to concentrate their energies into recording ''faded windows'' under the reverie banner. With the independent release ‘’ of Faded Windows ‘’ and a number of very positive reviews reverie have recently signed an internet distribution deal with turmic records.Reverie have shared the stage with the Hot House Flowers, Mark Geary, Rodriguez Y Gabriella, Declan O'Rourke, Mundy, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club and have supported the likes Damien Rice, EZIO, and Mick Hanley.Reverie have had national and regional airplay with Faded Windows, and have appeared on TV3, T Na G, and had two of there songs shortlisted by Hotpress for song of the year competition.As a debut album album '' faded windows'' represents a true labour of love and a breakthrough opportunity for reverie ......
