Things waking me up: people telling me stuff I didn't know before; walking through the foggy streets of Venezia and feeling like tiptoeing in a filmset; stories, quotes that make my fantasy run at full speed; biking through Amsterdam after a night full of friends and thinking: Yes, it is a beautiful city; waking up the first day of a holiday realizing there are yet a lot of sorrowless days to come; getting gripped by an intense song and forgetting that at the same time another 100 people are listening to the same song in Paradiso....

I have to say that musictechnically I'm rather complex, but the main thing is: as long as it makes me feel...something. Lately: Jaga Jazzist, Devics, Coparck (band from A'dam!), Psapp, but also: The Cinematic Orchestra, Solo, The Veils, The Shins, Flaskkvartetten, PJ Harvey, Phoenix, The Blue Nile, Magnus, Swayzak, Autolux, Undertheiglo. God this is good: Stateless, Une, Lilian, the instant plot, Ben McGarvey, Bellman, Chasing dorotea, Flashbaxx and many others. Keep surprising me!
