ME? Carolyn Dawn Good is the birth name. Friends nickname me Omega, Omega Dawn. Omega is an angel card pulled on day when looking for a new name. The Twisted Hair Council of Elders already gave a name years ago, but thats secret.
"Home" for this soul is beyond time and space. The land of Peace in the Soul world, but we dwell in a townhouse in the middle of a cedar forest at the edge of a small town outside Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Although I do not go into the forest everyday, its presence is strong. Its scent after the rain, the coolness on a hot day, the feeling of being "Held" and "Honored" is strong with these trees.
In this art that comes through these hands, you may be able to see influnces of the foremothers and fathers that inform the work: Kandinsky, Jonathan Borofsky, Arthur Dove, Agnus Martin, Brice Marden, Gathie Falk, Agatha Dyck, Mondrian and Diebenkorn. More their ideas than their actual objects or techniques.
The oil paintings are quite layered and full of contained exuberance experimenting with a wide range of materials.

The digital art on Art Rage and Corel Painter is a way to work without a mess and on my Macbook. We do graphics for businesses that let art and soul through in an ordinary logo or ad. Shaman is defined here as one who brings the invisible realms to be seen.
My first meditations in Philly at the time of Art School was with the "Ascended Masters". I've studies Pleidian Lightwork, Reiki, Healing touch. Now, Raj Yoga is my focus and I am a Family Constellations facilitator.

It is so interesting to see life as a movie with all the foreshadowing, symbollism, detatchment that one would look at a movie with. I, the soul as creator, director and star actor. Just me and GOD ( My father, mother, child and satguru)
Presently this small town of Mission BC is preparing to get ready for the 2010 Olympics that will be held a few hours away in Whistler. I am part of a team of souls who are weaving together a community play based on the medicine wheel and eight powers... and a giant shamanic Octopus puppet danced alive by 18 dancers.
