Hi everybody I am a musician and song writer. I play guitar, piano, drums and a little bass. It is easy for me to write songs from a female’s perspective because I grew up with my mother and four older sisters. I mostly write top 40 type songs and beautiful acoustic ballad/relationship type songs. I have written songs about Anorexia and self image/expression to just plain LOVE and breakup songs. I also believe when writing songs sometimes the best approach is to just keep it simple for example; Linda Perry’s “What’s up?” (4 Non Blondes) or the Goo Goo Dolls “Iris” or “Sympathy”. John Rzeznik can Rock with the best of them but he also knows that ballads/Top 40 is where the money is. I personally LOVE the stuff Robbie writes it more punk/alternative but not nearly as commercially successful as the songs John writes.
