Een Nederlandse in een Italiaanse band...het lijkt een vreemde omzwerving om in Italie medemuzikanten te vinden die ook Ierse, Zweedse en Franse deuntjes spelen. Maar muziek is dan ook echt een universele taal die ze goed beheersen in de band Arcor. In de band spelen doorgewinterde cracks naast nieuw talent en het grenzeloze enthousiasme van de muzikanten maakt een optreden tot een lust voor de luisterende mens.

The violin players of the band, being in love with traditional music, got together about 3 years ago in the suburbs of turin, coordinated from Davide. He is a violin player involved in indie, rock, and traditional music for many years. The ARCOR started rehearsing inspired by passion and good taste for music, and happyness of being together. This love for music and joy for giving traditional music back to his own prize, made so that new members got into the band. After practising for a few times all together, they have been making a big set of songs that they are now performing all over the place.In 2006 they recorded their first album “MUSICHE PER ARCHI E CUORE”, a selection of songs from irish, swedish and french traditions. The album got presented with success at the FNAC in Turin.
