Kep&Co

The band was born in october 2005 as a sequence to Old Horned Sheep, which played mainly irish folk music arranged in a modern way. This new project of the same musicians performs folk music from the Baltic region including influences from other parts of the world. Positive mood in their music can be seen in the choice of Carelian version of the Russian song “Razluka”, played in major key. The band consists of seven members, which use a range of authentic folk instruments, modern rythm section and sax. At he moment musicians are recording and mixing a single, which will eventually folowed by a full-size album. They have played quite a few concert and at every big folk festival in St. Petersburg and area, and driven the crowd mad by joyful and professional performance to the level all-feast and dancing! ps.
