About Me

Roaming the land with basses and banjos, big and small, Mike Savino is a collector. Not of earthly things but of sounds. The more he walks, the more he finds. He stuffs them into little pockets, only to be found later crushed into tiny little pieces, never to be the same again.
Mike Savino is a Composer, Songwriter, and Multi-instrumentalist based in New York City.
Facts:
1. He doesn’t remember anything before the second time he went to college.
2. He is friends with a cat name Stinko.
3. He might have a kazoo in his pocket.
4. He made up the word "Banjabumbalo" and is quite proud of it.
5. He loves YOU.
Mike Savino and The Savinoland Band “Come on in for some down-home string band sound infused with a little bit of that Afro-Brazilian fire. Banjo totin’, bull-fiddle bowin’ maverick Mike Savino opens the gates to his personal amusement park complete with stories of whimsy and wonder and a cracked band guaranteed to free your demons. Savinoland!”-expert
