StrangeZero are Stelios & Io-V from Athens, Greece.
Stelios was born in Athens in 1978. In 1995 he started producing Breakbeat/Drum&Bass combined with Acid/303 sounds. He worked also as a Dj/radio producer in various Athens Clubs and Radio Stations (NRG, Life FM, Radio Veronica& Beat FM)
Io-V was born in Athens in 1978. In 1997 he started producing Acid Techno and Progressive House tunes. He is currently studying medicine in order to become a gynaecologist.
In 1999, through 2 decades of friendship and music sharing between Stelios and Io-V, they decided to combine their music styles and create an alternative electronica dark/romantic band called StrangeZero. The band name basically came out to give a meaning to all minorities, usually referred to as "Zero’s", and explain that a ZERO can become something when it’s strange…it can have an identity…
