The Biography of Stock:
Biography Stock was born in Pontiac, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. His father (a Vietnam Veteran) died while Stock was only 5 years old in a drowning accident. Stock encountered the hardships that most do when being raised in a poor environment. His family was rich in faith, but poor in finances. Stock was determined to change things and the prosperity of his family even if it killed him.
After graduating High School, Stock moved from State to State pursuing his dream of music. He had his first demo in 9th grade and his first group album (MindFlow) was when he was 18. He then pursued a solo career and went to college. He studied studio recording, voice, speech, and piano. Stock also played the trumpet for 7 years.
After attending Greenville College, Stock moved to the UK and won a radio competition with Rock FM out of over 2000 demos, his prize was performing with Daniel Beddingfield, Mis-Teeq, Will Young, Ian Van Dahl, Lemar, and others at Feel The Noise Live at Ewood Park in Blackburn, England. He even was invited by Invicible Magazine (London Underground Mag) to attend an interview with Wyclef at Sony BMG. Stock also received airplay on BBC Radio 1, and Independant Local Radio giving him a combined listening audience of over 6 million.
He then received a placement of his song "Bounce the Bandit Remix" (produced by Dwight Reynolds who has album credits with Whitney Houston and Akon) in the $114 million film White Chicks. He was at that time the only unsigned artist played in the film. He has received numorous internet and magazine features from sites such as Hitquarters.com, Download.com, and newspaper write ups in His local Michigan newspaper The Morning Sun and the Lancashire Post in the UK.
Stock is an independant artist Stocks musical style is a concoction of Black Eyed Peas and Eminem with a little touch of UK grittyness....
