My name is Lynn and I'm from Belgium, born on June 1st 1981 in Ghent. I'm very, very timide, quite nervous at times, way too perfectionist, very insecure and self-conscious, selfcentered sometimes, much too stubborn, pretty straightforward, too opinionated for my own good, probably a lot smarter than you (lol³), I suck at programming and mechanics (sadly), I don't like going to parties & clubs (bad for your ears anyway), I don't like to be proven wrong & I don't like losing. I just like to be in control, I guess.
People tell me I always look mad (so not true), that I'm quite intimidating (?!?² I'm waaaay too tiny to be intimidating). What do they know, right?
I get the feeling that all this kinda makes me sound like a bitch on wheels... haha!
Actually, I'm a very together person, sensitive, but not too sensitive, caring for the people that care about me, I help my friends and family out whenever I can, I'm pretty creative, honest, people say that I'm a bad liar (actually, I'm a pretty good one, I just hate having to lie...), I'm pretty much always in a good mood (although it doesn't always show on the outside, yes I know...), quite intelligent, I speak 3.5 languages (ja, yes, oui, jawohl... my German blows),...
What can I say... To know me is to love me.
I'm passionate about music, fascinated with analog synths, I love electronics, I worship Pro Tools, I love scuba diving, I adore making jigsaw puzzles,...
I still live close to Ghent. We have 3 cats (Izzy, Minny and Lucy) that I love to pieces.
For the rest... Well, I have a bachelors degree in electronics, graduated in 2003. I've worked for over a year testing telecommunication systems for airplanes and stuff (which sounds great but is really, really boring), but I quit and returned to school. I graduated from the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Januari 2007 (with 87%, WOOHOO !!! Very, very bad for my ego...). I wanted to be an audio engineer ever since I was 13 years old... now I feel I'm actually getting there. I just looove my final project, my Minimoog synth replica (the mother of all final projects, it rocks beyond compare). Here she is :

I'm going to build my own modular synth for my next project. No replica's this time... Don't forget to watch this page in 20 years to see the result :o)) I need your input, by the way... I have a pretty good idea of what features I want my mod to have. I'm working on my website. If anyone has any suggestions, they're more than welcome.
