I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

About Me?! Hmmmm....Wow! That's such a big question it is always hard to know where to start. I always feel like I am pigeonholing myself when I say things like "I am so and so or such and such". I suppose that I will have to do my best...

My real name is Amy. And yes, I am a mom but I am so much more than that but of course, that is always a good place to start, LOL. So...I am the mom of two beautiful children and married to a hero of a man. Our son has Angelman Syndrome, www.angelman.org . He is 11-years-old but developmentally at the level of a 2-year-old. He has been a great gift and truly is my heart. My daughter is a sassy 7-year-old who is making her place in the world. I LOVE animals and am proud to share my home with, five cats, a Bassett Hound and two tortoises. I spend the majority of my time with my family and the rest is taken up with various computer and crafty type of projects.

In the spring of 2006, I started skinning for the Sims 2 . I wanted to have some clothing in my game that were things that I would wear or that my daughter would wear. I went crazy for a few months and built up enough of a collection that I decided to build a website to share my work. I started working on the website last summer but one thing or another happened and the project got put on the back burner. A year later I finally got back to it and launched it on May 21, 2007. It is called Sims Bohemia . So if you want some free, quality, funky and fun custom content for your sims. Check it out at...

my eBay store is now open!!

It is finally done, open and ready for business. Phew!! Combining my passion, skill and desire to run my own business has been a driving force in my life for a very long time. Finally, even if in a small way, I have accomplished this.

I fell in love with Punch Needle embroidery in the winter of 2006. I started designing my own patterns and producing them for sale. I also do primitive embroidery, dolls and various other crafts. Cats in the Cupboard Primitives and Design is a showcase for my design and crafting talents. I love to create and finally I am able to share my creations with other primitive lovers. I am so excited.

As a "thank you" to all of my myspace friends I am offering all of you 10% of anything in my store.

And last but not in the very least, there is something else that I have felt a calling for for a very long time but it just won't fit into my life yet. I really want to start ghost hunting. I am totally serious about it and as soon as I can escape at night I will do it.

That's me in a very small nutshell. If you read my blog or become my friend you will learn a whole lot more.
