Candi began her Career as a female impersonator in Chicago during the early 80's. Her performances were quickly recognised as something very special, and before long she had regular bookings at Chicago's infamous La'Cage bar and Baton Show Lounge (recognised World wide for the finest in female impersonation). Having worked with the best in the business, Candi developed her craft to compete in an arena reserved only for the elite, namely the 'Miss Continental' Pageantry system.
Candi thrived on the pageant systems in the U.S and received over 40 titles to her name.
In 1989 Candi became a flight attendant, performing only on special occasions.
However, her passion for the stage was undeniable and in recent years she has returned to the stage, finding a whole new audience.
In January 2003 Candi moved to Melbourne Australia, and has quickly established herself once again as a pioneer and innovator in her field and has been traveling the World since performing again. .
In 2006 Candi was approached by singer songwriter Tony Carne, asking if she would be interested in possibly recording some of his music?.
Tony sent Candi a CD with some of his work and Candi instantly felt a connection with Tony and his music!
With both Candi and Tony's love for Disco, they quickly went to work on what is going to be an album which will reflect on Candi's life and call it " The Journey" hoping to have it finished and out for release in 2007.
Tony and Candi have teamed up with some fantastic Talents, Matthew Randall, Robyn Payne, Claire Woodley, David Wilks and are sure to bring you something amazing!
