Built in 1998 in the backwoods and scrapyards of Ontario, The TRUCK emerged with a turbocharged sound that mixes hardrock and countrypunk, that has been reviewed as “Johnny Cash meets Johnny Ramone”. Deliverance with a Marshall Stack. 1999 – BIG JEEZUS TRUCK released their first album, THE BIG HOOHAW, and soon developed a reputation for their intense live show. The band first received national exposure when producers of the adult animated series THE KEVIN SPENCER SHOW, having caught BIG JEEZUS TRUCK during their post-release tour, were smitten enough to write an entire episode around them: a first for a Canadian group. BIG JEEZUS TRUCK made their television debut as cartoons on the CTV and Comedy Networks. 2000- more roadwork……….including headlining at the world’s largest volleyball tournament before a crowd of over 22,000 slightly deafened but very satisfied attendees. 2001/2002 – BIG JEEZUS TRUCK wrote and recorded their second album THE CURSE OF THE UNDEAD TRUCKER. The band played several festivals, as well as showcasing at both Canadian Music Week and NXNE 2003 – yup, more roadwork………The music of BIG JEEZUS TRUCK was chosen for use in a racing game , COWBOYS AND ENGINES, designed by Fuel Industries.com 2004 – After the success of the videogame launch, BIG JEEZUS TRUCK was chosen for use in MAXIM Magazine, who are producing a TV pilot for the Speedvision Network. The Show, which entitled MAXIM”S SUPERCARS, will feature six BIG JEEZUS TRUCK songs. In addition, the band was granted funding from Videofact for their cover of CW MCCALL’s “Convoy” 2005 - BIG JEEZUS TRUCK finished production and released their third album, MECHANICSVILLE, to a sold-out crowd, and rave reviews. In October 2006 with addition of new drummer Cpt Killdrums, 2007 promises to be a busy year for the truck, this is where the rubber meets The road!!
