about *Flash* Hello Guyz , Galz and fellow guitar fanatics!!! My name is Jayson(aka)Flash . I am the GUITARIST/SINGER/SONGWRITER in the band Hyrd Gunz. Hyrd Gunz are based in the Ottawa Valley ,Ontario, Canada. I have been playing the guitar since the my early teens ,first and foremost to meet woman ,but to my surprise and delight.. this 6 string instrument has become a big part of my life :) I have played in many different bands over the past 20+ years, in different genres of music and I am constantly striving to improve my skills and writing techniques as a guitar player ,to develope unique ideas in music. "To have people dance the night away and party all night long is what I am aiming to do". I grew up listening and learning the music that has become the bands signature sound. Through years of watching others, practicing guitar, singing along and enjoying music in all forms, I have become a well rounded musician and vocalist, constantly willing to learn and thriving to be the best that I can be. I also enjoy teaching guitar to other players, in all styles of music to sharpen up my own skills and continue the learning curve while helping others enjoy the most they can get from this instrument. I enjoy seeing other bands and guitar players when I am not playing myself. There are so many bands that have that zest to become original which in turn is an inspiration to me as a song writer and guitar player. I am always open to new innovative ideas to add to my ever growing arsonal ,vocabulary of guitar feel and theory. I live to play live ,which is what we "Hyrd Gunz" love to do. A great performance! This is what it's all about. Our task isn't simply to play music, but to perform. We love to do what we do and we will make certain you have a great time. Our one mission is to get people dancing and we guarantee that, given a dance area and a couple with a pulse, dancing will happen. In the coming year I plan on recording our debut single with Hyrd Gunz, geared towards party-dance rock n roll.
