About Me

Ted Brown Chassis = Please feel free to ask me any questions concerning Hotrod fab, or ?? whether you are just starting, or have a finished ride, and want to know how to fix problems, or see if your ride is safe to drive? you name it, and ask away... No question is a bad or stupid question, as I have asked them all myself over the years... you can post pics so I can see just what you are talking about, that makes things much easier, sometimes you may not be real Happy with what I may tell you, but I'm only trying to Help you, as I have over 200.000 miles on my own Rod, and I believe I know what works and what does not... I am a strong believer in testing, run it till it breaks, then build it stronger... I can save you all that time and MONEY! Just tell me to look at your ride and give you my opinion about what I think works, and what does not... and will not over time on the road......................................I am officially retired, at last! Well I sometimes think I was always retired, as I so loved what I did all day... That makes it seem like you are not really WORKING! at a job... Now I tinker with only EASY TO GET AT projects, as my back will let me know that all those weird positions are not good for me.. I am now living in Bakersfield, Calif. BUT! wanting to move & build a new last stand home in Arkansas, on the land [1-5.5 acres] we bought there, in a small [No. West corner] town called Berryville... I designed & built Drag race cars, Street Rods and all types of specialty vehicles, (on & off road) ......... I also invented new products for people... I did this for the last 30 years while working in my own shop........ I love driving my Chevy powered 1923 T Hotrod Street Roadster, (now & then anymore, as the price of fuel is way out of range for me) That is why I still do WORK on the SIDE (now & then) hehe To earn Gas money! ......... I also ride a KYMCO, People 150cc Scooter for that super great fuel mileage! Close to 77+ MPG HeHe I Love that! Otherwise I would have to stay home more, not that home is not a great place to get away from all the hustle bustle of the fast pace that is; TODAY! ............ I have always been a loner...{except for a GREAT Wife} If you have noticed there are 3 Teds all in my friends, and they are all me and mine.. Me my Son Ted=TR which stands for Ted and Ryan, my two Grandsons, that is why I call my Son Ted TR, so as to keep everybody seperated, somehow..hehe~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DREAMS are what life is all about!! Without Dreams, AND!!!! MUSIC, Yes, Yes, indeed! It would be a very Sad & Boring life without MUSIC... My favorite male singer of all time is Engelbert Humperdinck... As he sings from His Heart to Your's,....... AND! Let there be something NEW!!! I love to create new and better ways of doing things that are needed, and do not have a product to do it as yet!.. OR; to just Make it Easier and Better... why not??... ~ Ted Brown Chassis Retired, sort of.. 2008 ~ ~~~~ ..

My Interests

Just trying to kick back a bit now days, and help my Son get his shop together...then we can start building some BadBoy cars...a couple to keep for us, and some to sell..

I'd like to meet:

You, You and you... Plus, People building their own hotrod cars... as I love all the new ideas people come up with, on their own... People that love to do new and different things to make livin easier and more fun... I have a new love for a different type of Hotrod now, which I am going to call BadBoys... some have called them beaters and such, but most that I have looked at lately, are really trick, I like the fact that a preson really does not have to have a trick $$$ paint job. And the same goes for the interior, just needed is comfy seats.... using dash parts and changing stock parts from many other cars, gives each a great look, each to his own. Not all the same like My Roadster, so many on the road pretty much just like it...not as much fun ...I may be retired, but I will build one more trick BadBoy!! for myself and another with my Son... and it will get super mileage, but just look like a big engine...hehe

Music:

YES! Turn it up! Music can make me very teary eyed, when it has feeling, some musical instruments drive me crazy with feelings, like Stranger on the shore, by Acker Bilk, Wrong spelling ?? ...Please go to my small music player and check all the rest of the music I have, there are some GREAT artists there to listen to....

Movies:

Yes!! Action and funny are the best... Bring the Kettle Korn Please! As the cost of Popcorn at the movies is way CRAZY! hehe This is the main big draw back about being retired {living on a limited income SUCKS!!!!!}.

Television:

Not too much for standard TV..The computer took/won over the TV..hehe

Books:

Popular Science & Mech. I like anything where I learn about or How To do something new... I have never been much of a reader ... and That I find is another sad part of/about my life, it seems like every time I try to read, lately, I automatically fall asleep! Darnnnnnnnnnn, I so wanted to read that! I should have listened to my Grandfather, well I did listen, but I should have "DONE" what he said..hehe The older folks are sooooo much wiser! He said there is so much to be "learned" by reading. Even more than school ever had to offer. They just teach you HOW to read. Now it is up to you/Me to read and learn!

Heroes:

My Uncle Bob, Helped me through some very hard years at school{kept me on track} & My Brother, because He had only 1 job during his whole life, plus He re-built his own home [added a second story] He can see the Beach! I must not forget My Son, TR! He has the same creative hands as me, He is also a very talented plumber, and now into the Heating & AC installation and service business... He also has had some real tough lessons in life... I love Him more than I can say...

My Blog

Keeping the Romance/lust alive...

I would like some feed back on this subject Please... I am not totally alone with these thoughts... I have a few single Friends (I'm married myself) that feel as I do, about much of this... They wish ...
