Born and raised in Boston MA to a Southern family with music flowing thru his veins... Dark Vega grew up around music, even banging on drums and pots at the age of terrible 3. Thru grammer school he played mostly brass family instruments, tennor sax and trumpet. Comming from a musicly inclined family he enjoyed days watching the drummers go to work at his family’s church. He was always a big fan of Good Music....Mostly Hip-Hop and R&B... He began his music journey at the tender age of 12. Growing up in Dorchester, MA was no easy walk in the park, but Dark Vega was determind to be different. He had talent and he knew it...Only thing left was to find his way...and find his way he did. Homemade Subwoofers, 2 tapedeck looping & 4 sec samplers were only a taste of some of his creative tools used to create a hood fan base...He made it happen tho. At 13 yrs old, & ready to perform at Dorchester’s Strand Theater with producer & longtime friend of the family, K.A.L and the older crew gave inspiration to keep the faith and hunger for the music strong. Over a Decade later now Older & wiser.....Still as hungry as the youngster he was. Dark Vega now has put together all the wisdom & hands down - know how, mixed with bloodline original beats, Courage & Determination to become a true enturepurnuer, equipt with a library of beats & Songs that could have your head rocking for Days, Weeks.....hell,Years...He is now ready for the world to experience Hip-Hop at it’s finest.
