.. *** I love to paint, make jewelry, arrange flowers, garden, decorate my apartment, decorate anything anybody wants me to, make collages, and I love to organize things! Incubus is a huge part of my life. I am very into this band. They have literally saved my life more than once. They even helped a girl go into remission from cancer!! I believe they are a very special gift to the human race, and their music can help everyone. it is great therapy. Brandon is a genius. I love that he uses big words and even creates his own words, he likes that stuff. I am an admitted shopaholic. I also love my CDs & DVDs. I have a virtual media library in my apartment. I try not to live in La-La Land, but I sure do like to visit as often as possible. I love all kinds of movies, happy, sad, whatever. I prefer not to cry because I am hyper-sensitive and super empathic. I feel it like it was happening to me! It's not bad to cry, in fact, I cry alot when I am happy, too. It's a great release. I love to laugh more, though. The best medicine! I love to surf the web and collect pictures of famous people I love. I have a huge collection of those too. I call myself a photophiliac, or picture lover. Men are usually the more visual creature, but I love to look at the faces of the people who touch me with their art, so the more the merrier! This means I also have a penchant for magazines. I have so many magazines, it's ridiculous. I just can't get enough, plus the art of the photographer that just took new pictures of this person I love is a double whammy!!! Bonus!

OTHERWISE: Quality People with Integrity. I was friends with people who were highly dysfunctional, & they are no longer a part of my life, Thank God!! I am close to people I have known more than 10 years, & with new people I need them to build trust with me, I trust no one right off the bat, that's how you get hurt in this world. I have a strange sense of humor, but I think there are alot of people like me out there... I like dark humor & super dumb comedy, base humor is fun. It's good to know I don't take myself or life so seriously that I can't laugh at a fart joke. I want to know people from all walks of life, with completely different experiences, to give me a bigger understanding of this crazy world we live in.
Music:
Joni Mitchell is the queen of all music, the most brilliant artist of all time. I was recently privileged to meet her in person and she was wonderful, as I expected she would be!!! Second only to her is INCUBUS NO DOUBT *** & Alanis Morissette . I had to post this because this shows how FUCKING FUNNY Alanis is, she rocks.... *** *** Those artists saved my life, and nourish my soul on a daily basis. I also love Gavin (Bush) , Prince and let us not forget the great Madonna. I have recently discovered an awesome local band, MR. SALTY - They ROCK!!! Here are some pics of me with them and them rocking out! They are a bunch of super sweet and very talented musicians and I think they will go far. I sure Hope so!!

I do not believe in any organized religion, but I do believe in God. I just talk to God, plain and simple. The music these bands create has moved me to share their music with everyone I can get to listen. They both are a very positive influences to every person who listens to them. I still love all the music I have experienced growing up-- all stages. Some of the disposable crap that is out now, making these talentless hacks millions of dollars sickens me. It's so throw-away. That is why I stick to music with high integrity, like Joni Mitchell, Incubus, No Doubt, Gwen, of course, Bush, Madonna, Prince, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn & Rage Against the Machine. There are too many bands to mention, but I have special place in my heart for so many... *****I have always loved Both Gavin & Gwen, and was thrilled when they got together all those years ago. Oh My God, I hope there isn't a limit here... I could never pick a favorite movie, but Titanic *** ***(yes, I AM sappy-deal with it!) & American Beauty *** *** are way up there. Recently GARDEN STATE *** *** & ELIZABETHTOWN *** ***. Another greatly inspiring movie is MY DATE WITH DREW, *** *** and every person should see PAPER CLIPS *** ***. That movie gave me so much hope for this world - check it out!!!! The art of movies is something I wish I could make a living doing, but I have no idea how to get into the biz & I wouldn't leave my job unless I knew I would have a secure position with a steady paycheck. And it would have to be more money to start!!! I have a DVD collection that could blow alot of CRIBS guest starts out of the water!! I love ALL Disney movies, animation is so wonderful, you can do anything. The Lion King *** *** was a major bonding thing with me & my best friend, Renee. I love Romantic Comedies, Action, Drama, Tearjerkers, and the just plain weird. I have a wall of fame in my living room with framed pics of tons of movie stars who have touched my heart. I try to wait til the DVDs are super cheap, but I love to watch movies. It's a lazy activity, but it transports you to another world, and life is so screwed up, you need to go away sometimes!! I love so many actors, I don't think I could ever list them all... they all touch my heart with their acting and stay in there always, but lately I HAVE decided that the most attractive, pure, giddy, sweet, smart & BEAUTIFUL person on the planet is DREW BARRYMORE. I strive to live & think like HER!!! She is so refreshing - and a hippie like me!! Just seeing her talk, with her adorable twisted smile makes me well up inside, she brings out so many emotions in me!! I PRAY someday I know her, somehow, I KNOW we would be great friends!!! *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

The Simpsons is the Number 1 TV show of all time!!!!!*** *** Futurama is right up there with it, but didn't have the same following, but - YEE-HAW!!! New episodes will be out soon!! *** *** *** ALWAYS CLASSIC: BEAVIS & BUTTHEAD!! i NEVER GET TIRED OF THOSE BOYS - and the funniest part is that it's basically MIKE JUDGE talking to HIMSELF!! What TWISTED boy!! *** *** I also love Chappelle's Show,*** *** Mind of Mencia *** *** - Carlos & Dave are tied for THE funniest man in America - in my book!!!! I also ADORE Absolutely Fabulous,*** *** *** French & Saunders,*** *** *** *** *** *** South Park, *** *** *** *** Family Guy,*** *** Ren & Stimpy,*** *** *** Crank Yankers, *** *** King of the Hill *** *** *** *** & the TWISTED vision of Seth Green & his pals, Robot Chicken *** *** *** WONDER SHOWZEN is just plain FUCKED UP - so i ADORE it!!! *** *** *** Gotta love American Dad - just as messed up as Family Guy - *** *** Reality TV is cool, but I have never seen even one episode of Survivor. Some of those shows just don't appeal to me. I am glad that there are a few shows actually doing some good, like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, if they keep that up for many years, they can actually improve this COUNTRY!!! I Love Lucy *** *** is an all-time classic & still makes me actually laugh out loud. I love Friends,*** *** In Living Color,*** *** Sanford & Son, *** *** Spongebob Squarepants,*** *** Saturday Night Live,*** *** Good Times,*** *** Seinfeld, *** *** The Sopranos, *** *** *** Sex & The City,*** *** *** *** Dead Like Me, *** *** Six Feet Under, *** *** & Will & Grace. *** *** *** Some other OLD-SCHOOL classics are THE YOUNG ONES *** *** ROSEANNE, *** *** & three's company*** *** I miss shows like Dennis Miller Live *** *** (although he is apparently a big fucking Republican, so he's not a favorite anymore) & The Chris Rock Show, *** *** *** *** there was a different vibe when they were on HBO. Books:
I love true crime the most, and ANN RULE *** *** is about the ONLY author who can hold my atention anymore. What ALWAYS amazes me is the level of ARROGANCE every one of these killers have in common, they ALWAYS think THEY will get away with it, it's really crazy!!! I have some other weird favorites. I love "And I don't want to live this life" by Deborah Spungen, the mother of Nancy Spungen, who more than likely died at the hands of a drugged-out Sid Vicious. It is a truly horrific story from a parent's point of view. Nancy had neurological problems from birth. It taught me one of my life's lessons, "If it doesn't kill you in the first 5 minutes, you will get thru it, and you will be ok". I also love alot of books from my youth, Judy Blume books being the top of those. My grandma exposed me to some great kids books, like "Nana Upstairs" & "No Fighting, No Biting". She would read books to me also like "The Little Colonel" & "Gone With The Wind". She was a librarian, so she encouraged me to read. It's a busy life, and finding time to read is not easy, but I try to squeeze it in as much as I can. As far as true crime goes, I love these books because I am always tripped out how different we humans think and react to what we go thru in life. Some people become tortured poets, or songwriters, or serial killers. It amazes me. It's also really sad that we can't know when someone will become this way. I scared my friend with the kids when I met him by rattling off all kinds of info about serial killers (my mom had all the time-life books and I just devoured them). He wanted me out of his house!! I knew a little too much....
