Sound Booking

My name is Jens Fredrik Ryland. I'm born in -74 and live in Oslo- Norway. I have a company called Sound Booking. Sound Booking is a relatively new company, but I have been in the music industry for a while already. Some people know me as the guitarist from Borknagar. Others know that I am the founder of the Inferno festival in Oslo. I have worked with Mayhem as their tourmanager and I have driven the tourbuss for Dimmu Borgir. In 2003 I quit both Borknagar and the Inferno as I was fed up with the business. I worked with other stuff for 3 years only to discover that I belong on, behind and in front of a stage. I am involved now with Borknagar as session guitarist and booking agent and I work to establish Sound Booking as a reliable agency in Norway. Sound Booking works first and foremost to organize concerts in Oslo- Norway. I also try to book concerts in other Norwegian cities. I want to broaden my horizon to include Sweden, Denmark and Finland. I have some bands on my rooster which I focus on. When the larger bands get a gig or a tour I try to use the smaller ones as support. If I bring in other bands for gigs in Norway I also try to feature "my" bands as support.
