About Me

I love live music and spending time downloading and listening to live shows. I especially love the Grateful Dead, who's music have given me a lot of joy over the years!! My attachment to their music comes not only from the feeling I get from it, but also from the fact that their lyrics seem to relate to many of my life experiences.

28

I've been thinking about 28 recently because it's my 28th birthday, but that number has a lot more significance for me than just the age I just turned. In May, 2004 I left Antioch in the '94 Ford Exp...

Something To Cherish

Yesterday I watched a video interview with Mr. Bob Weir. He said that peer-to-peer file downloading cheapens music and turns it into a disposable commodity. He said that the cream-of-the-crop now go ...

Gonna Miss Your Baby

There are many songs I’ve heard that seem to relate really closely to my life and specific events in my life. Most of these are Grateful Dead songs. One night I was at a small party at a prof...

The Reason Why

One of the things I do frequently on Myspace is changing my top friends. I do this to reflect who is having the greatest impact on me at the time. Recently, I put the band A Glass Gesture as my top ...

One

"One" is very meaningful for me. It’s appeared in a lot of songs I’ve enjoyed: One pill makes you larger, one toke over the line, that’s it for the other one. Is it the loneliest n...

Two

During the Summer of 2005 I saw a total of two shows. This was very unusual for me as I had seen a lot more than that in 2004--as I went on the Western Leg of The Dead tour, and also in 2006 when I w...

Three

My experience seeing Phish in concert seemed to involve the number 3 a lot. My first three shows were three years apart--'97. 2000, and 2003. In 2003 and 2004 I attended, you guessed it: 3 shows eac...

Four

When I first started listening to the GD I owned a total of four shows. They were 12-26-79, 02-09-73, 06-26-74, and a mix of 3/5 and 3/6 1981. It’s amazing to me to think how much things have c...

When I Got It

As you can tell by the background of my profile, I love the Grateful Dead. They are very near and dear to my heart. Although I never attended a concert by the GD they have been a big part of my life....
