Walking Through Babylon nasce dall’incontro di due vecchi amici dalle esperienze musicali assai diverse…. Rata da sempre trombettista e, solo recentemente, anche percussionista dei Casinò Royale…A.Scratching sounds dj di musica elettronica essenzialmente dubstep e trip hop e successivamente approdato al dub e rocksteady jamaicano, Storie diverse ma un progetto comune: parliamo di materiale selezionato con cura, a partire dai vinili originali anni ’60 Studio One –la grande casa discografica che per anni ha avuto il monopolio sul made in Jamaica- fino alle più recenti realizzazioni di musica elettronica con influenze jamaicane. Materiale che ruota intorno ad artisti del calibro di Roland Alphonso, the Skatalites, Willy Williams, Ken Boothe, Horace Andy e gruppi come Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack… Su queste basi, rispettosamente suonate, si insinuano percussioni e melodiche alla maniera di Lee Perry e Augustus Pablo.
