I refused to have a myspace page for so long. In protest, I always claimed that I was too old and way too busy to maintain such a space. A good friend of mine named Steven Sanchez was one of my favorite people in all the land, he grilled me endlessly for being absent on this page. He would always throw out "you have no idea what you're missing!" Steven suddenly passed away over Thanksgiving weekend of 2006. All of his his other friends were feverishly posting their sadness and disbelief of his unexpected departure from this place. Not wanting to be left behind, I threw the towel in and created this space so I could post on his page. What I didn't realize was that he needed to be "here" in order "to accept" me as a friend on his page. Now I'm left with a myspace page, so I guess I'm gonna make the best of it. But at least EVERYTIME I log in, I think of Steven and how much I miss him and his Cheshire cat grin. . .Things that make me happy: I LOVE MY FRIENDS! I'm very blessed to have many awesome friends. I'd take a bullet in a heart beat for them. Favorite slogan: "No man is a failure who has friends!" I also dig playing softball, tennis, volleyball, flag or tackle football & hiking. I bowl like no straight woman you've ever seen. I have my own ball, two to be exact. One even glows in the dark. Just sayin. I have some Cherokee Indian running through my veins. I have the ability to make it rain, but sometimes the garage door opens instead. Thus, I see dead people. GO YANKEES! Things that make me sad: roadkill, people who abuse animals, the Bush administration, the Red Sox and people who cheat and lie.
