About Me
Below I'll say something about me but my works are speaking of me better and deeply
You - my elab from a picThe smile - my elab from a picOne of my strongest ideas is aversion to censorship. Except that for what is for minors, everyone must be free to express whatever he wants. Undertaking the responsability of what he expresses. My age is in the headline, I posted some pics of me ... what's more?
Married once (I have a daughter now 16 y o).
Divorced once.
Other women ... enough.
Now ... well that's not really simple.
Job? For a big company and I like it cos also in a big company you find nice people.
Passions? The beauty in all its ways. Mad for Rock music, and endeless loving for artistic painting.
I think that it's enough as the fun is to discover each other on the road, on progress.
I'm Italian. But my answer to the question - Which race are you of? - will always be Einstein's one - Human -The most beautiful and deepest emotion we may feel is the sense of mystery. In that is the seed of any art and any science (Albert Einstein)
I love modern and contemporary painting with passion for abstractism.
The painters I love? They are many indeed.
Limiting myself from 19th century ahead, I can say that I love:
Francis Bacon, Giacomo Balla, Renato Birolli, William Blake, Umberto Boccioni, Georges Braque, Edward Burne-Jones, Alberto Burri, Gustave Caillebotte, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Giorgio De Chirico, Caspar David Friedrich, Lucio Fontana, Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Keath Haring, Edward Hopper, Wassili Kandinsky, Paul Yves Klein, Gustav Klimt, Franz Kline, Roy Lichtenstein, Osvaldo Licini, Kazimir Malevic, Piero Manzoni, Henri Matisse, Joan Mirò, Amedeo Modigliani, Laszlò Moholy-Nagy, Giorgio Morandi, Edvard Munch, Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Robert Rauschenberg, Mimmo Rotella, Mark Rothko, Emilio Scanavino, Gino Severini, Graham Sutherland, Joseph M. W. Turner, Maurice De Vlaminck, Andy Warhol.
All these I do love and they gave to me spendid emotions but three of them are the basis of my aesthetics:( Giuseppe Capogrossi - Superficie )( Afro Basaldella - Il ponte )(Alberto Burri - Sacco)
And one of them gave to me the maturity of my aesthetic sense, Kazimir Malevic. His theory of Suprematism is the logical and also the most poetical landing that art painting ever reached. At the Maeght Foundation, in Saint Paul, France, in 2003 I saw his "Black Square". It was a temporary exibition dedicated to the Russian Avantgardes, full of masterpieces. But only in front of that black square I felt myself so touched to be near to tears. It is just a black square, nothing else than that, but it's the symbol of an entire life dedicated to reach the ... supreme. It's the symbol of what the idea of art in painting is the one of mine.
(Kazimir Malevic - Black Square)One of them gives to me serenity. Everytime I see one of his works, I smile. What a shame he died so young! He is Keath Haring:(Keath Haring - ......... )
Of the ones still living and growing I like a lot Ann Beecroft:(Ann Beecroft - ......... )
