MUTANT is a synergy of art, music and a myriad of other creative endeavors metamorphosising and colliding particles with itself to bring you entertainment in many forms. Gigs, Exhibitions, Picnics in the park? Who knows it could be anything it could be everything but keep your eyes and ears open and you might witness or become part of the MUTANT experience.
Currently "MUTANT: The Club-night" is every second friday of the month at Fuel (Withington, Manchester)

At Fuel in Withington, Mutant (2nd Friday of every month), in association with NO GCH Magazine, presents a club night playing the music that you never thought you wanted to hear!
From Giorgio Moroder to Half Japanese.
From Deerhoof to Elephant Man.
From A-ha to Frank Zappa.
and so on and so forth!
Every three months various DJ's will play a monstrously eclectic mix of music that in some cases defined genres and in others thankfully ended them.

Digital Videodrome
Digital Videodrome is a movie theatre that you can control.
Every so often, at Fuel in Withington, Mutant (2nd Friday of every month), in association with NO GCH Magazine, will be playing host to a movie night like no other!
On the 11th of May '07: Mutant's first movie night will not only show some of the newest short films * being made within the catchment area but will also be running a late night feature.
After that it will be up to you, the public, to vote for the films you want to see.
Here's how it works.
All you need to do is send a message to us through myspace stating what film you would like us to show. Then each week we will create a list of the top ten films you have chosen.
Then you will have about a month to vote for your preference from that top 10(which will of course be posted on this site).
You can only vote once though so bear that in mind. However if you want to vote but do not have a myspace profile you can also send votes to;

IT IS FREE
So not only will you be able to get to see the films you love on a big screen, but you will be able to enjoy a drink while you watch it bought at a reasonable price from the bar downstairs.
* If you have made a short film that you would like us to show just let us now and we'll sort it out for you.

Where we love to promote the Avant Garde! and sometimes the downright Odd!
Fuel in Withington (the place to be) again plays host to Mutant (2nd Friday of every month), in association with NO GCH Magazine, promoting the 'LIVE' music that you never thought you wanted to hear!

Every three months some local (and some not so local) bands * come and play their own brand of beautifully strange and exciting music for your sonorous pleasure.
