About Me

we are worriedaboutsatan, or known to our parents as gavin miller and tom ragsdale.
we make a mix of dance music and rock, lying somewhere between swirling atmospheres, thumping techno beats and huge walls of crippling noise.
the band is named after an obscure b-side (we're not religious), and we started in early 2006, after a particulary dull xmas.

the tunes up on our player are but a few of many, and if you'd like to explore more of our music, then have a look at our discography...

what a few people have said...
"worriedaboutsatan, for example, weigh in with 'morwenna', a standout of the two-piece's attention grabbing live sets from 2006 which probably constitutes their most successful mash-up of glitchtronica and crescendo rock so far, hitting all the right intellectual and emotional buttons in just under three minutes"
- greg elliott, sandman magazine
"mixing glacial guitar notes and glitchy electro-beats, they come across like explosions in the sky backed by aphex twin"
- adam simons, drowned in sound
"made to make your mouth water and your ears bleed. to open up your emotions and let your soul scream and fly skywards breaking your own astral umbilical chord in the process... in a parallel universe worriedaboutsatan have just won futuresound and everyone out there knows exactly why"
- chris oddy, the music guru
"worriedaboutsatan’s 'the butterfly effect' is an unexpected treat. it starts full of simple but racing electronica while mournful guitar avoids the dance for two full minutes then it bursts out into something more heroic and all the lights blaze on. go back and listen again – it’s special... bath time was never this good"
- sam saunders, whisperin' and hollerin'
